What teams ask before switching
What happens if the signal drops during a form?
Supported mobile work is kept on the device and can synchronize after connectivity returns. The interface exposes sync state instead of silently pretending the upload completed.
Does every TraceSource feature work offline?
No. Offline support is intentionally scoped. Form capture and supported mobile workflows can work without signal; administrative actions that need current server state require a connection.
Can I capture barcodes while offline?
The mobile workflow supports camera-based barcode and QR capture. The exact offline behavior depends on the field and connected hardware used in that workflow.
Can office staff see the data immediately?
They can see it after the device synchronizes. Until then, the response remains on the field device and is shown there as pending rather than falsely appearing complete.
